This is one of my favorite hikes. About 4 miles on 89 past Alder Creek Road is a dirt pull out area next to a creek – or should I say a river right now. We hiked an hour in and an hour back (8 year old pace) and the hike is beautiful. We couldn’t make it to the Sagehen meadow because the lake and river is so full – but the hike was beautiful and worth the trip.
